HOW WE ENGAGE
While we long to see every child free from human trafficking globally, Araminta is primarily called to focus our efforts on domestic child sex trafficking in the state of Maryland. Our mission model places survivors, their children and at-risk youth in the center of everything we do. We surround them in restorative relationships; offering specialized care and trauma-informed services that are a source of hope and empowerment. Our programs and services are implemented through vetted volunteers, staff and community partners, who once awakened, equipped, and mobilized become the catalysts for engaging the broader Church and community to join in the mission to end human trafficking. We hold firmly to the belief that if our entire community stands together in true unity against this injustice, there will come a day when traffickers can no longer do business in Maryland because the people will not allow it.
